WHAT IS ECOFILL
The Solution
Ecofill transforms all types of on-site clays and subsoils into fully certified aggregate replacement
products. Minimising exported soils to landfill and the import of aggregates, the Ecofill solution
typically reduces lorry movements by 98%, carbon by 96% and costs by at least 20%.
The Technology
The Ecofill ground technology offers an on-site, ex-situ process, combining site-won clays and
subsoils with our state-of-the-art machinery and tailored Ecofill Binders. The Ecofill Binders are
formulated to suit each individual project and its unique ground type.
We can produce over 1,000 tonnes of Ecofill products daily. Once laid and compacted, the Ecofill
products provide a structural material for the construction of both permanent and temporary
earthworks structures, suitable for all major sectors of the built environment.
The Service
The Ecofill service includes binder design, material production, testing and validation. Armed
with site pre-site investigation data, comprehensive testing, and a full understanding of the
project requirements, we manage the full Ecofill production process from start to finish.
The Ecofill technology is mobilised to site and all machines are accompanied by a fully trained &
highly skilled Ecofill Production Supervisor. This ensures maximum efficiency, quality guarantee
and complete confidence that all requirements are being met in order to successfully deliver the
sustainable Ecofill solution.
